What fabulous color this fall! Everyday is a treat, all the more so for knowing the cold is so close... we are all trying so hard to resist buying anything new until we get all those final plants we already have out - of their pots and into the ground - and cleaning up debris and cleaning tools to be put away... and, of course, dreaming of SPRING! |

Japanese Anemone I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape - the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn't show.
