What fabulous color this fall! Everyday is a treat, all the more so for knowing the cold is so close... we are all trying so hard to resist buying anything new until we get all those final plants we already have out - of their pots and into the ground - and cleaning up debris and cleaning tools to be put away... and, of course, dreaming of SPRING!

The bees love to harvest all day from the Mexican Sage and then they curl up and sleep on it at night.

Thanksgiving - It is literally true, as the thankless say, that they have nothing to be thankful for.  He who sits by the fire, thankless for the fire, is just as if he had no fire.  Nothing is possessed save in appreciation, of which thankfulness is the indispensable ingredient.  But a thankful heart hath a continual feast.  ~W.J. Cameron
