A light rain made the temperature cooler and brought out the colors. Many of the old tombs date back before the Great War of Aggression.

Margaret Mitchell is buried in a plot covered with dozens of pink roses.

Confederate and Union soldiers are also buried here. We had a lovely and knowledgable tour guide who was able to point out the many historic figures buried here as well as the history of early Atlanta.

After the tour, we had a wonderful lunch at Six Feet Under!
