And the day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. REDUD RESERVES MONIES! Redbud District awarded clubs $1,990 in grants from September to December to install bluebird houses and Blue Star Markers, as well as to landscape Habitat 4 Humanity homes and improve school grounds (to Villa of Flowers, Smoke Rise Morning Glories, Mountain Mums, Smoke Rise GC, Avon GC, and Ladybugs). Also, Villa of Flowers GC and DeKalb County Federation of Garden Clubs were recipients of GCG’s Community On My Mind grants, and 2 other clubs have applied for the COMM grant.
