Renee with her papaya tree |
After hearing Renee Hopf speak to the club about gardening for wildlife, she graciously allowed us to tour her extensive and beautiful wildlife gardens. You will find water, feeders and birdhouses but so much more in the use of native plants to provide needed seeds, berries and thistles enjoyed by the wildlife in this beautiful Georgia garden.

This garden is far too beautiful for any pictures to do it justice! |

Renee is a proponent of "wattles" - small structures that incorporate limbs, twigs, leaves and forrest debris that the creatures who live here really love... Animals and birds find a constant supply of nesting materials and some live in the wattles. |
