October 21, 2007 Fall Gardening in the South - Dr. Allan Armitage - 11:00 am to 12:00 pm World renowned author and plant expert, Dr. Allan Armitage, will present "Fall Gardening in the South," a discussion of plants and activities that southern gardeners enjoy due to the extended growing season. Participants will get the chance to tour the garden center with Dr. Armitage and ask questions. This is a rare opportunity to rub elbows with one of the world's most respected plant experts! Redbud Shoebox Gardening -The entire list for the Redbud Shoebox Gardening project can be found here. You can bring your shoebox to the next meeting or to the Redbud District meeting on Oct. 24th. They must be in by Oct. 31.
